Features
Because it floats, a feeding fish will suck it in quicker than a standard bottom bait, resulting in more hooked fish.
Perfect for use with the Method Feeder, the Band’um Wafter sits just atop the pellets or bait on the Method feeder, meaning the Band’um Wafter shoots straight into the fish’s mouth as fish feed. It therefore leads to more and faster bites.
A band’um is the perfect hookbait for the bait band. Its unique cylindrical shape with wide ends makes it easy to set up with either a pellet bander or a bait bander. The bait band sits firmly in the middle slim area of the band’um, which means that the hook sits perfectly in the middle of the bait. This in turn leads to more hooked fish. A band’um is also less likely to be pulled by the hair, meaning you can fish with more confidence and more efficiently.
A band’um wafter is also an ideal bait for the splash waggler. Because it sinks slower than a standard bait, a band’um wafter spends more time in the feeding zone than a standard bottom bait, which in turn gives carp more opportunities to take it.
Band’um wafters are the hookbaits of choice for many experts as they are perfect for all fish species including carp, bream and F1s.
Since the buoyancy of the Band’um Wafters is balanced by the weight of the hook and the band, finding the right hook for the presentation is a must. Typically a size 12 to 16 hook will balance the band around the wafter, but it also depends on the type of hook used. Smaller hooks can be used by simply clipping a small shotgun under the bait to the hair, balancing the band’um wafter.
Available in 5 distinctive colour-flavor combinations to have the right bait for every situation. A good tip is to switch hookbait colors until you find the one that fish prefer that day.
The options are:
Yellow Pineapple that works great on all bodies of water. The yellow color stands out especially when the water is a bit cloudy.
Pink krill, which offers a great combination of visible color and strong smell.
Pellet which has the same color and flavor as most feed pellets. Perfect for catching those carp that have gotten used to eating pellets.
White Chocolate, which is probably the most visible color and often the quickest to bite.
Chocolate Orange is the newest product in this series. A bold orange with a solid brown stripe offers a new, unrivaled experience – carp love them!
