As the name suggests, we developed the choddy for the now very popular chod rig and the hinged stiff rig.

The Choddy has an outwardly curved eye. Its tip is extremely sharp and will not dull even in the most difficult conditions. Anglers like Jim Shelley and Nick Helleur swear by this hook, they’ve tested it in the toughest conditions.

The matte, non-shiny coating gives the hook perfect camouflage and prevents fish from being scared off. This hook is an absolute must for any stiff rig angler.

Due to its large hook curve, the choddy holds very well in the fish’s mouth. The inwardly curved tip prevents the hook from working unnecessarily in the fish’s mouth during the fight with the fish. In short, the choddy is an excellent hook.
